GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENTS
Welcome to GGS' section for golf course superintendents. This page is dedicated to recent articles and the sharing of
information regarding the care and maintenance of golf courses and the role of the superintendent. We would also appreciate your participation in our "golf blog" which is an open forum for those of us who make our living from the game of golf. If you have any thoughts to share or questions, please feel free to visit the golf blog page.
I recently did a google search for "fertigation" and came up with some pretty interesting information. I have put links to those articles below in case you are interested in reading them.
GGS is the NY State distributor for MegaGreen organic, liquid fertilizer. It is only a matter of time before the use of organic rather than chemical fertilizer will be legislated as mandatory. Some of the superintendents I have spoken with are guessing 3-5 years if not sooner. If you would like more information on MegaGreen just click here. In order to introduce more golf courses to the use of organic fertilizer, we offer a no risk trial of 5-10 gallons. If you are not completely convinced that it is superior to the chemcial compounds you are currently using…you can call us and we will tear up the invoice. No hastles, no questions.
We also came across a unique tool for repairing divots on tee boxes, fairways etc. It is inexpensive and will reduce divot repair time by 40%-50%. I also save on back injuries and the constant bending over motion that causes them. the name of the product is the Divot Dog. For pricing and information click here.
